Karla Waller, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist (OB-GYN) at Cedar Park OB-GYN Associates, part of Ascension Medical Group, in Cedar Park, Texas, near Austin. Dr. Waller provides comprehensive, patient-centered OB-GYN care for women through all stages of life. She takes a collaborative approach to women’s health, working closely with each patient to provide personalized care and build trusted, long-term relationships.

Dr. Waller cares for patients with a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic conditions, including high-risk pregnancies, infertility, hormonal disorders, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pelvic organ prolapse, vulvodynia and skin tags. She also evaluates and treats infertility and has a focus on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

In addition to providing preventive and comprehensive OB-GYN care, Dr. Waller performs robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery. She works closely with each patient to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences and long-term health goals.

Before joining Ascension, Dr. Waller served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. She also co-authored research on hypertensive disorders of pregnancy that was published in Women's Health Reports in 2022, reflecting her commitment to advancing women's health through clinical research.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Waller enjoys spending time with her three sons, who keep her busy and remind her every day of the importance of family.
