Dr. Gordon is a native of Louisiana. After graduating from Tulane University and LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, she went on to complete a general surgical residency at St. Vincents Hospital and Medical Center in New York, New York. During her general surgery training, she was chosen to spend a year as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the internationally renowned Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. During this time, she pursued her research interests in the biological behavior of skin and scar-less wound healing with clinical fetal surgery. She subsequently trained in plastic surgery at the prestigious Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA, completing a 3-year residency. This cutting-edge program is world-recognized for excellence in plastic surgery, as many innovative procedures on breast and aesthetic surgery were developed there. A passion for the constantly evolving nature of aesthetic surgery and a commitment to deliver natural results combined with 21st century technology prompted Dr. Gordon to pursue a fellowship in Aesthetic and Oculoplastic Surgery at Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta. Dr. Gordon belongs to numerous prestigious medical and honor societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Candidate Group, the American College of Surgeons, Candidate Group, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, Candidate Group, the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
