About Rachel Marie Kingree, MD

Rachel M. Kingree, MD, is a board-certified, experienced pulmonologist at Ascension Saint Thomas in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Kingree diagnoses and treats respiratory conditions in adults, such as asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia and sleep apnea. Dr. Kingree grew up on a farm in Iowa, and made her way to Southeast Missouri State for her undergraduate degree in microbiology. She completed medical school at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004, and subsequently her internal medicine residency and pulmonary critical care fellowship also at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007 and 2010. She has been serving patients in the Hermitage area since 2010 with Summit Hospital, and is pleased to have joined STMG in 2023.

Dr. Kingree is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care. She enjoys treating patients with a wide variety of needs, both in and out of the hospital.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Kingree enjoys spending time with her family, reading and building with Legos.
