Sleep in Special Populations: The Child with Autism

FREE - Pre-Recorded Session

Families of children with autism often have many challenges when it comes to bedtime. Children may have a difficult time settling down before bed and may have difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. In addition, parents may be unaware of potential physical problems that may be impacting their child’s sleeping patterns.

This FREE pre-recorded presentation is designed to help parents understand what sleep is and how restful, restorative sleep may be impacted by an autism diagnosis. We will also explore common challenges families have with bedtime routines and management strategies to modify negative bedtime behaviors.
