Mark T. Watkins, MD

Dr. Mark Watkins in Brunswick, Georgia, is a cardiologist with Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent’s. Dr. Watkins is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and provides compassionate and personalized care to adults ages 18 and older. He provides specialty care for heart and blood vessel disease to help prevent heart attack and stroke. Dr. Watkins starts by listening to understand you and your health concerns. He provides an in-depth heart evaluation with tests to understand if your heart is beating normally and how your blood pressure and cholesterol levels may be affecting your heart. Our care team monitors your heart and looks for changes. Then, we work with you to create a care plan that’s right for you. Dr. Watkins has a special interest in pacemaker and defibrillator insertions, cardiac catheterization and follow-up care. He strives to provide the highest quality of invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular care available to each and every patient. Outside of the office, Dr. Watkins enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including running, pickleball, water skiing, snow skiing and golf. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters.
