Paul M. Cleland, MD

Paul Cleland, MD, is a board-certified Family and Sports Medicine provider at Ascension Via Christi. He chose this career path because he loves seeing people get better. Dr. Cleland says that the trust patients place in their physicians is a privilege he truly values and respects.

Sports Medicine allows him to treat patients of all ages, activity levels and loves helping people get back to doing what they love. Dr. Cleland thinks the best feeling coming from his work is seeing a breakthrough and the smile of a patient who has struggled with an issue or pain for a long time without relief.

His favorite vacation spot is on a golf course with no cellular service. Not too many people know Dr. Cleland bowled competitively in high school. Away from the office, Dr. Cleland's hobbies include practicing his faith, spending time with family, playing golf and ping pong.
