About
Unni Thomas, MD, is board-certified in medical oncology, internal medicine, and hematology, and practices at Cancer Specialists of North Florida's (CSNF) Southside location. Originally from India and born into a family of physicians, Dr. Thomas received both his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and Doctor of Medicine from Madras Medical College in Chennai.
After losing his father to metastatic prostate cancer, he chose oncology as a career.
Optimistic about the advancements in cancer treatment that are on the horizon, Dr. Thomas is especially thankful that CSNF is constantly remaining up to date on the latest treatments and is able offer state-of-the-art care that is both efficient and compassionate. He joined CSNF because he wanted an organization that was going to put the interests of the patients first, no matter what.
When not in the office or playing his favorite sport, golf, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
