Cathy A. Bryant, MD, is a board-certified, experienced family medicine doctor at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Bryant currently provides outpatient care to patients across the age spectrum. Her practice includes care for infants through seniors. With a passion for patient education and preventive care, she works with patients to create personalized care plans for long-term health needs and performs many common office-based procedures to minimize the need for referrals. Over the course of her career, she has practiced full-spectrum family medicine -- including prenatal, obstetrical and inpatient hospital care.

Dr. Bryant is a native Hoosier who graduated from DePauw University and received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She trained in family medicine at the former St. Paul-Ramsey (now Regions) Medical Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. After serving for four years in community health in south Minneapolis, she returned to Indianapolis in 1998 to practice and to teach in the St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency Program.

In 2025, Dr. Bryant was recognized as one of the Top Doctors in Family Medicine by Indianapolis Monthly magazine.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Bryant enjoys being a mother and, more recently, a grandmother. She enjoys a variety of activities, including walking, biking, sewing, knitting, listening to audiobooks, and spending time with friends and family.
