About

Safeer A. Ashraf, MD, is board-certified in hematology and medical oncology and practices at Cancer Specialists of North Florida's (CSNF) Baptist South location. A Northeast native, Dr. Ashraf’s family moved to Texas when he was in high school, where he attended the University of Texas for his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry and Bachelor of Science in zoology. He then attended the University of Tennessee to obtain his Doctor of Medicine before completing his internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Florida.

Having been with CSNF since 2009, Dr. Ashraf most enjoys the time spent and relationships built with his patients. He finds it very rewarding to follow these patients, many of whom have been coming to CSNF since he started working at the location 11 years ago.

When not at the office, Dr. Ashraf enjoys cycling, photography, and spending time with his wife and three children — especially if they're on a Disney cruise!
