Kimberly K. Broughton, MD

Foot and ankle surgeon Kimberly Broughton, MD, has joined Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart. Dr. Broughton is board-certified in orthopedic surgery, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She provides specialized care for patients suffering from ankle and foot deformity, arthritis, fractures, sports injuries, tendon ruptures, trauma, cartilage defects, nerve disorders, sprains, fractures, joint pain and traumatic injuries. Dr. Broughton serves in the U.S. Air Force, and she has been deployed to Afghanistan, Niger and Peru. Her research has been published in medical textbooks and in multiple peer-reviewed journals. She has volunteered on medical missions to Honduras, India and Mexico. She is a graduate of the American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders program, and she is a member of the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
