Carisa Burr, AG-ACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with Ascension Saint Thomas Heart West Comprehensive Heart Failure and Transplant Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Carisa provides acute and preventative care for chronic heart failure conditions to adults with medically managed and advanced heart failure.

Carisa has a special interest in cardioMEMs, minimally invasive procedures, transplants and advancements with heart failure management. She strives to advocate for her patients and families, helping them understand what it means to live with heart failure.

Outside of the office, Carisa enjoys gardening, hiking and pottery.
