Christopher S. Molligan, MD

Orthopedic surgeon, Christopher Molligan, MD, has joined Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart’s regional network of doctors. Dr. Molligan will perform orthopedic surgeries and see patients for follow-up appointments at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. His office is located in the DePaul building at 5147 N. Ninth Ave., Suite 103.

Dr. Molligan performs open, minimally invasive and arthroscopic procedures, including orthopedic trauma care, treatment of fragility fractures and post-traumatic deformity correction.

Dr. Molligan is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He graduated cum laude with his bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology from Tulane University in New Orleans. He received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and he completed residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Molligan comes to Pensacola from a fellowship in orthopedic-trauma surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dr. Molligan has conducted research around femur fractures, limb alignment and total knee arthroplasty.
