Victor E. Nwosu, DPM

Victor Nwosu, DPM, provides specialized care for patients suffering from sprains, fractures, joint pain, trauma, sports injuries, bone spurs, tendonitis, nerve disorders, tendon ruptures, cartilage defects, ligament injuries, skin, wound and bone infections. Prior to receiving his medical degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Nwosu served in the Navy and was stationed at Naval Hospital Pensacola. He was a combat surgical technician and hospital corpsman during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and recognized as Sailor of the Quarter. Dr. Nwosu completed his residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, Michigan, where he was named surgical resident of the year. He received a foot and ankle reconstructive surgery fellowship at the American Health Network in Indianapolis. He comes to Pensacola from the CORE Institute in Novi, Michigan with over seven years of experience.

Dr. Nwosu is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Microsurgical Orthoplastic Society and the American Professional Wound Care Association. He has served on medical mission trips in Nigeria, Mexico and the Philippines, and he has volunteered with the Michigan Special Olympics Fit for Feet program. He is certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
