Amy L. Seery, MD

Pediatrician Amy Seery, MD, is faculty for the Ascension Via Christi Family Medicine Residency Program and assistant professor of Family and Community Medicine with the University of Kansas School of Medicine- Wichita. She serves as the Pediatric Section Chair for Ascension Via Christi's Wichita hospitals.

Dr. Seery regularly does physician rounds on patients at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis and Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph, where she works with medical residents caring for pediatric patients and newborns; she also works with medical residents and students in caring for patients at Ascension Via Christi's outpatient pediatric clinic.

She is known for her passion for educating medical residents, healthcare professionals and parents on health and safety issues affecting children, bringing enthusiasm and creativity to community education and outreach. She serves as a board member for several community non-profits and as local TV news stations' go-to resource for timely comment on family health-related topics.
