About

Steven D. Siegel, MD, is board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine and practices at Cancer Specialists of North Florida's (CSNF) Clay location. Born and raised in New York, Dr. Siegel received his bachelor's degree in anthropology before moving to Illinois to earn his Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University. He then went on to complete his residency and fellowship programs at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Siegel founded and joined CSNF in 1988, and was impressed by the hospital where he worked and the expertise of his fellow physicians. After over 30 years with CSNF, those opinions have not changed.

Working with patients is the most rewarding part of his job. His own cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment as CSNF several years ago has allowed him to connect to them in a new way. When he was diagnosed, there was no doubt in his mind that he would be treated at CSNF. Being able to relay his treatment story and success as a CSNF patient created stronger bonds and a deeper trust between him and his patients.

When not at the office, Dr. Siegel enjoys spending time on the golf course, or with his wife and two grown children.
