Enrique B. Pena, MD, is a board-certified physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor) at Ascension Texas Spine and Scoliosis in Austin and Kyle, Texas. Dr. Pena earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from New York University and received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, in Newark. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital/Atlantic Health Systems in Morristown.

Following his internship, Dr. Pena completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He then completed fellowship training in Interventional Spine, Musculoskeletal, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine at The Spine Center at New England Baptist Bone & Joint Institute in Boston.

Prior to joining Ascension Texas Spine and Scoliosis, Dr. Pena served as Staff Physician and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Tufts University Medical School and The Spine Center at New England Baptist Bone & Joint Institute in Boston.
