Sean M. McWilliams, MD

Sean M. McWilliams, MD, is an ear, nose and throat specialist, called an otolaryngologist. At Ascension Sacred Heart in Miramar Beach, Florida, he provides non-surgical and surgical care for allergies, ear, nose and throat infections, and growths affecting the sinuses, tonsils, thyroid and other glands. He starts by listening to understand you and takes the time to get to know you and your family’s health history. Then, Dr. McWilliams works with you to create a care plan for your health needs.

Dr. McWilliams is board certified in otolaryngology. Dr. McWilliams has a special interest in minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery and hearing rehabilitation. Dr. McWilliams manages a broad array of pediatric and adult ENT disorders. He uses the most advanced surgical techniques including balloon sinuplasty for treatment of sinusitis and computer aided navigation during surgery.

In 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, Dr. McWilliams was recognized by Professional Research Consultants (PRC) as a "Five Star" healthcare provider who scored in the top 10% nationally on patient surveys where patients were asked to rate the care they received. He was ranked in the 99th percentile when compared to other physicians nationwide who were rated through the PRC patient survey in 2018. Awards are based on how often patients gave their physician or provider a rating of excellent on the PRC survey question. PRC is a national healthcare marketing research firm that works directly with more than 2,000 hospitals and healthcare organizations. Dr. McWilliams was also recognized as a Top 5 Specialty Care Provider for 2021 and 2022.

Outside the office, he enjoys reading, college athletics, and traveling with his family.
