As a mother to a child who has autism, Jennifer Findley understands how overwhelming holidays can be for children with autism or sensory processing challenges. Findley’s experience and her role as a licensed social worker and behavior analyst at Studer Family Children’s Autism Center in Pensacola motivated her to create an event that helps families navigate Halloween festivities.
When Gina Poe’s 14-year-old son was diagnosed with cancer, she considered relocating out of state so that he could access breakthrough treatments that gave him the best quality of life, outcome and survival. To her surprise, she found world-class cancer care two hours away at Studer Family Children’s Hospital in Pensacola.
