Price Transparency Tools

Ascension is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized care. We want to help you get the information needed to make healthy choices for you and your family. As such, in compliance with Federal law, Ascension has created a number of price transparency tools, including a consumer-friendly price estimator tool and a machine readable file of all Ascension’s hospital standard charges.

Click here for access to these Ascension price transparency tools.

Additionally, Wisconsin Act 146 (2009) requires providers and facilities to disclose certain pricing and quality information. As part of our compliance with this requirement and for additional information, please visit the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s PricePoint program, which includes additional facility-specific information about charges for health care services at all hospitals in Wisconsin, including Ascension Wisconsin hospitals.

Click here for access to the Price Point tool.

Request an estimate

You may contact a representative at the location where you will receive services and we will work to provide an estimate of your out-of-pocket cost based on the services you anticipate and your specific insurance.

Your insurance plan is a good source of pricing and cost information for those with insurance, while hospitals provide this information to those who are uninsured. While PricePoint provides basic information on hospital charges, we are unable to provide estimates for any ancillary services and/or others whom may be involved in your care.

Consumers should be confident that they are receiving not only affordable care, but high quality care. By using CheckPoint and PricePoint together, you can review both the price and quality of care you can expect to receive.

Assisting patients with financial need

Please note Ascension Wisconsin offers a charity care program called Community Care to assist qualified individuals in financial need. If you receive medically necessary care and show financial need, but do not qualify for other financial assistance programs, you may apply for financial assistance. Any patient with out-of-pocket expenses, whether insured or uninsured, may qualify. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-877-304-6332 for an application.
  • In addition, all sites owned and operated by Ascension Wisconsin give a percentage discount to our uninsured patients. The amount accepted as payment for care will be consistent with that received for patients with private insurance.
  • Ascension Wisconsin also works with patients to establish payment plans as needed.
