Olufemi Akinyede, MD, is a physician with Ascension Medical Group. Dr. Akinyede is board-certified in family medicine. He provides comprehensive care by partnering with a nurse navigator, pharmacist, behavioral health counselor, care management nurse and various specialties to coordinate care and ensure that his patients are able to avoid hospitalization and age safely in place at home. The Comprehensive Care Clinic is patient centered and structured to provide the time that is needed to manage health screens, immunizations, wellness and sick visits to older patients with chronic, complex and multiple health conditions. Dr. Akinyede has a special interest in helping patients prevent the health care conditions that lead to chronic health problems. He wants to help patients avoid hospitalization and learn to manage their health conditions effectively. Outside of the office, Dr. Akinyede enjoys staying physically active, hiking and traveling.
