Julia received her master's in nursing from Indiana University and since that time had devoted her career to the care of women. Through St. Vincent Women's Health Services, Julie is part of the core team that has developed the High-risk Breast Clinic, Pelvic Health Program, Women's Cardiac Risk Clinic, and Taketime4U wellness programs and education.

Julia is a founding member of the Center for Hope, an Indianapolis metro treatment center based in emergency departments for individuals who have been sexually assaulted.

Julie is a frequent guest lecturer on a variety of women's health topics at community events and professional healthcare meetings.
