Amy M. Mowery, NP

Amy Mowery, NP, is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner with Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. She listens to understand you and your health concerns for your baby. Amy works with neonatologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists and pediatric specialists to deliver advanced care for premature, sick babies and babies with congenital disorders. As a NP, she can prescribe medication and provide non-surgical care.

Whether your baby has new symptoms or you just want to talk to a nurse about your baby's health, Amy is here for you. She is recognized for being certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Amy is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses, National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and Central Indiana Association of Neonatal Nurses. Amy is involved in hospital NICU quality improvement, neurodevelopmental care, and clinical education for precepting NNP students from the University of Indianapolis. Amy has a special interest in peripherally inserted central catheters line placement, neurally adjusted ventilatory assist procedures, and nursing and staff education. Amy is an educator and lecturer on neonatal nutrition, neonatal respiratory diseases and therapies, gastrointestinal and urinary disorders in newborns, and acid base balance of the newborn.
