The Emergency Room doctors and care teams at Ascension Providence Emergency Department are equipped to help meet the needs of patients of all ages, including geriatric and pediatric care. We are located on the campus of Ascension Providence, which means specialty physicians are also available on an on-call basis. In addition, our ER care teams maintain communication with your primary care doctor to make sure you continue to receive the care you need.
Minor Emergency Care
With enhanced triage capabilities, patients are quickly assessed for their care needs. Minor emergencies are treated in our enlarged Minor Emergency Care facility. The Minor Emergency Care facility is equipped with 12 beds and is open 16 hours a day. With its own dedicated area, the minor Emergency Care provides a high level of compassionate care with a reduced wait time. Walk-in care in your neighborhood
For non-life-threatening situations that require immediate attention, you may walk in to one of our Express Care locations in your neighborhood or reserve a treatment time online. These locations are available with extended hours — evenings and weekends to treat non-emergency situations such as fever, cold and flu, complications from chronic illnesses such as diabetes or hypertension, or other minor illnesses and injuries.
