NaPro Technology for Women

NaPro Technology uses the Creighton Model of natural family planning to help specialists deliver care by better understanding you and your body.

A natural approach to women’s healthcare

NaPro technology is a method of women’s healthcare that uses the Creighton Model of natural family planning in order to diagnose and treat disease. By understanding your body, we can help identify the underlying reason for illnesses. NaPro Technology has been used to help women suffering from infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, premenstrual syndrome, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, polycystic ovarian syndrome and postpartum depression.

Dr. Hilgers and the Creighton Model

NaPro Technology was created by Thomas Hilgers, MD. Dr. Hilgers and his colleagues developed the Creighton Model FertilityCare System.

In 2004, Dr. Hilgers published the definitive textbook on natural procreative technology, The Medical and Surgical Practice of NaProTECHNOLOGY. Dr. Hilgers is currently a senior medical consultant in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine and surgery at the Pope Paul VI Institute. He is a clinical professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Nebraska.
