Transcranial magnetic stimulation
Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive procedure that uses repetitive magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. These pulses help to relieve symptoms of depression and other mental health conditions. TMS is an in-office procedure that allows you to return to your everyday activities after treatment. Your doctor may recommend TMS when other treatment options have not been successful.
