Maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) care for high-risk pregnancy

Sometimes the unexpected happens and your pregnancy becomes high risk. Your OB-GYN may refer you to perinatal care and an MFM specialist at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital -Ozaukee Campus Birthing Center. During your pregnancy, you’ll be surrounded by a highly skilled multispecialty care team. With early and regular prenatal care and monitoring, you’ll have ongoing guidance and support. Your MFM specialist listens to understand you and your preferences and concerns and collaborates with you and your OB-GYN as a team. We connect the dots for moms who have received a high-risk pregnancy diagnosis and deliver support at every step including access to the most pediatric specialists and specialty programs for newborns. MFM specialists can deliver advanced diagnostic tests and care during your pregnancy that includes:

Help new moms and babies by donating breast milk

Breast milk is full of antibodies to help babies fight off infection. And, it has essential nutrients for healthy growth and development. If a baby is born premature or the mother’s milk supply has been delayed, donor breast milk can provide essential antibodies and nutrients that babies need.

Through The Mother’s Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes, we are accepting and providing donor breast milk in our NICU. If you wish to donate your breast milk and meet the criteria set by The Mother Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes, you can drop off your donation at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital - Ozaukee Campus Birthing Center.
