We offer 3D mammography and believe everyone should have access to it. The benefits of 3D mammography are numerous and well established. Not only is cancer is caught earlier but with 3D mammography you can avoid an unnecessary follow-up exam after a false positive.
Women ages 45-54 at average risk should have an annual mammogram, but always talk to your doctor about your risk factors. Having a first-degree relative with breast cancer increases your risk, as does menopausal hormone therapy, obesity, long-term smoking, and daily alcohol consumption.
