Ascension Mercy Hospital Volunteers (MHV) High School Student Volunteer Scholarship
The Mercy Hospital Volunteers Organization (MHV) has created the MHV High School Student Volunteer Scholarship endowed fund within the Mercy Health Foundation. This scholarship provides one student volunteer a $500 scholarship to be applied to their continuing education at an accredited college, university or technical school.
Scholarship criteria:
- Ascension Mercy volunteer
- Graduating senior from any area high school
- High number of volunteer hours in good standing
- Will be attending an accredited trade school, technical college or university
No application is necessary to apply for the MHV High School Student Volunteer Scholarship.
The Natalie Kate Bolin Mercy High School Student Volunteer Scholarship
The Natalie Bolin family has created a fund through the Mercy Health Foundation, named the Natalie Kate Bolin Forever Fund. Mary-Jo, Natalie's mother and her sisters Ashley, Stephanie, and Leah Bolin, created the Natalie Kate Bolin Mercy Student Volunteer Scholarship to honor Natalie's beautiful spirit and life. Natalie was a 16-year-old student at Oshkosh West High School who volunteered in the area of errands and passed away in 2010. She was a dedicated volunteer who donated 153 hours of her time to Mercy.
Scholarship criteria:
- Ascension Mercy volunteer
- Graduating senior from Oshkosh West High School
- Highest number of volunteer hours in good standing
- Will be attending an accredited trade school, technical college or university
No application is necessary to apply for The Natalie Kate Bolin Mercy High School Student Volunteer Scholarship.
Wilma Ritsema High School Student Volunteer Scholarship
Al Ritsema established an endowed fund within the Mercy Health Foundation to provide the Wilma Ritsema Student Volunteer Scholarship ($500) annually, in memory of his wife. Both Wilma and Al were active volunteers at Mercy and are currently Emeritus volunteers. Wilma was very involved as a past president of the Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary, among many other volunteer roles. She donated more than 5,000 hours of her time over the years.

- Ascension Mercy volunteer
- Graduating senior from any area high school
- High number of volunteer hours in good standing
- Will be attending an accredited trade school, technical college, or university
No application is necessary to apply for the Wilma Ritsema High School Student Volunteer Scholarship.
University of Wisconsin Oshkosh School of Nursing Scholarships
The Ascension Mercy Hospital Volunteers (MHV) Organization awards a $1,000 scholarship each year to two UW-Oshkosh students enrolled in the School of Nursing at UW-Oshkosh. These scholarships are from an endowed fund within the Mercy Health Foundation. For more information on criteria and to apply for this scholarship, please contact:

MHV Radiology Student Scholarship
