Hundreds of Tulsans donated funds in 1925 to complete St. John original building, which opened the following year. Ever since, this community has supported St. John Health System, and St. John has worked to return the favor by providing the best care to our patients and their families.
The St. John Health System Foundation provides financial support for the operation and continued growth of St. John. Each year, the Foundation receives many grants, contributions, donations and gifts supporting the work of St. John.
Gifts to the Foundation enable the health system to expand existing services and add important new programs. In recent years, Foundation funds have helped build and equip a new pediatric intensive care unit, open a kidney dialysis center in an underserved part of town, and expand our pre-admission testing lab.
Due to the volume of requests the St. John Health System Foundation receives to support worthy causes, we are limited in the number of organizations and events we are able to support. St. John's focus lies in health-related programs, and we are not accepting unsolicited funding requests or proposals at this time.

The St. John Health System Foundation offers many ways to give. Your gift may be undesignated, meaning the Foundation may use it for a project of its choosing at St. John. Or, you may designate your gift for use in particular departments.
