Supporting your heart care recovery

Our heart surgeons and interventional cardiologists use minimally invasive techniques and image-guided technology to deliver advanced treatments, and procedures. Minimally invasive procedures use small incisions and may lead to a shorter recovery. For some procedures, you may go home the same day. If you need to stay in the hospital after your procedure, your care team monitors you and provides support while you recover. At Ascension St. Mary’s Women’s Heart Clinic, we also provide:

  • Cardiac rehabilitation
  • Heart nutrition counseling
  • Heart failure education
  • Medication management

Cardiovascular research

Many of our doctors are also principal investigators in national and regional heart and vascular clinical trials. We are committed to being leaders in cardiovascular research. Our doctors are working to help improve how we diagnose and treat heart and vascular diseases. Talk to your cardiologist to learn more about participating in clinical trials.
