Orthopedic care that's right for you

Keeping up with daily tasks, exercise, or performing well as an athlete can be difficult when you have bone or muscle pain. Our team approach delivers medication therapies, physical therapy and non-surgical treatment options before recommending surgery. We help you understand your condition, so you know how to prevent reinjury during and after your treatment program.

Specialty care includes:

  • Back injury care
  • Hand and foot surgery
  • Hip and knee replacement
  • Minimally invasive knee arthroscopy
  • Shoulder surgery
  • Sports medicine

Sports injury care and rehab

Our sports medicine doctors and care teams deliver prompt care when a bone or muscle injury keeps you on the sidelines. Rehabilitation services include physical therapy and athletic training for your sports performance needs. Our doctors and athletic trainers support local sports teams as first responders at practices and competitions. We offer an education and sports performance program to help prevent injuries and improve strength and conditioning.

Hip and knee replacement surgery program

When hip or knee pain keeps you from sleeping restfully and causes chronic pain, our orthopedic doctors offer minimally invasive joint replacement options. Robotic arm-assisted surgery for knee and hip replacements is available at Ascension Michigan hospitals. Your orthopedic surgeon creates a personalized, 3D surgical plan. Greater accuracy, along with better joint implant alignment and positioning means that you may experience less pain, recover faster, and have more flexibility.

If you experience a life-threatening, medical emergency, including a traumatic injury to your ribs, neck or spine or compound bone fractures, go to the nearest ER and call 9-1-1.

A PRP injection is made from your own blood using plasma-rich platelets separated from your blood cells and injected back into your body. This treatment is also used to treat inflamed tendons and ligaments in the knee and hip.
