If you are planning to visit a patient at an Ascension Michigan facility, please review our current visitor guidelines:
- Masks are not required in any Ascension Michigan facility except in units providing care to special immunocompromised populations or patients with an increased risk of complications from COVID-19. These include intensive care units, oncology units/centers and transplant units. Hospital-issued masks must be worn in these areas.
- Patients seeking medical care for respiratory symptoms or who are COVID positive should always wear a hospital-grade mask.
- Two visitors are allowed at a time. Patients are allowed multiple visitors each day.
- Patients who are COVID-19 positive, or are being tested for COVID, are allowed one visitor per day over the age of 18. Visitors must follow appropriate guidelines for personal protective equipment. Visitors also must stay in the patient room or designated area and limit visiting other areas in the hospital.
