Lab services on-site

Our lab technicians at Ascension Medical Group- Ferndale Medical Center are part of your care team at Ascension. By getting a high-quality blood or urine sample, or a throat or nasal swab, we help your doctor diagnose your health condition. Then, your care team creates a care plan that’s right for you. Testing and lab reports are completed as quickly as possible. In many cases, results are sent to your doctor the same day or the next day. Some tests (such as cultures) require several days before a test result may be available. Our labs provide many types of tests, including:
