The Ascension St. John Kidney Transplant Outreach Center in Alpena is a transplant satellite clinic. Our transplant navigator coordinates transplant orientation sessions with local nephrologists and dialysis centers to identify potential kidney transplant candidates. Certain pre-surgery services such as diagnostic and lab testing may be conducted as well. From there, the potential candidate will travel to the Ascension St. John Transplant Specialty Center in Detroit for further consultations.
