This treatment option is for children from 4 weeks to 24 months of age who have been diagnosed with bronchiolitis. The diagnosis is made after an exam by a primary care physician who will also provide a prescription to the clinic.
If your doctor refers your child to the clinic, your child will be seen by a trained pediatric nurse for evaluation and treatment. Visits are recommended to be twice a day for up to four days. Treatments may be at least 30 minutes or until parents notice an improvement in their child’s ability to breathe comfortably.
