The neuroscience care team at Ascension Via Christi shares a single goal: Provide high quality, coordinated stroke care from the moment the patient enters the emergency room through recovery and rehabilitation. Our multidisciplinary team has specialized training to provide the highest quality stroke care and includes:

- Rehabilitation services
Each member is specially trained and has a specific responsibility to respond quickly and completely to the needs of a stroke patient.
At Ascension Via Christi St. Francis, the 20-bed neurocritical care unit is overseen by neurocritical care fellowship trained physicians. The team provides in-house evaluation and treatment for acute stroke, advanced neuro imaging, and interventional acute stroke care.
As part of our commitment to improve stroke care , we also participate in stroke clinical trials.
