Visitor Information

Ascension welcomes family and friends of our patients. We’ve provided the information below to help make your visit convenient and comfortable.

Take a Tour

It would be our privilege to arrange a tour of our hospital, so that you may see first-hand our commitment to comfort, quality and compassion. We are also pleased to provide assessments and consultations at no cost. Same-day or next-day tours, assessments, consultations and transfers can often be arranged. For more information, please call 317-415-8450.

Visiting Hours

Open visiting hours are from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

To ensure healing and rest for our patients, we request the number of visitors be limited during regular visiting hours: up to 2 in high observation rooms (217-228) and up to 4 in non-high observation rooms.

After 9 p.m., one family member or visitor may stay at the patient bedside (all rooms).

Children younger than 18 are welcome during regular visiting hours but must be accompanied by an adult, other than patient, at all times. Seasonal restrictions may apply.

Amenities

  • 74-bed facility
  • Comfortable, family-inspired surroundings
  • Beautiful serenity garden for patients and families
  • Chapel on-site for worship, meditation and reflection
  • A family retreat room is available for overnight sleeping; you may sign up at the front desk. A café is also available for visitors. Food brought in must be eaten in the café and may not be eaten in the patient’s room—this is to prevent the spread of germs.

Communication Services

St. Vincent is committed to providing culturally and linguistically appropriate care to all our patients and their families, especially those with limited English proficiency, deaf and hearing-impaired patients, as well as those with unique physical needs. To access any of our specialized services in these areas, please notify our pre-registration or registration staff before or upon your arrival. If you are an inpatient, please let your nurse know and these services will be readily accessible to you.
