  • Leukemia (a term for many types of blood and blood tissue cancers that stem from your body having problems making healthy blood cells)
  • Lymphoma (cancer cells that affect your body’s immune system and lymphatic system, for example, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma)
  • Multiple myeloma (cancer of plasma cells in the bone marrow, which are a type of white blood cell, and the most common type is IgG)

Imaging tests are available at Ascension St. Vincent sites of care close to you. 3D mammograms, breast MRI and low-dose CT lung scans are high-definition image studies that help improve the detection of hard-to-find cancers. Other services include biopsy procedures, advanced radiology imaging, minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, ultrasound-image-guided procedures of the chest and abdomen, and more. We also provide tumor testing for personal molecular targets and hereditary cancer genes (for example, BRCA genes, Lynch syndrome, BFAF mutations, germline and tumor cells).Telehealth genetic counseling is now available.

Medical oncology treatments are provided in a comfortable infusion center. Chemotherapy and other treatments may involve oral, intravenous (IV) or injection. These treatments may be combined with surgery or other treatments.
