Visitor guidelines
Our visitation policy allows us to provide a safe environment, high-quality care, and positive experiences when and where our patients need us. Visiting hours vary by day. If visiting hours are limited in certain units, hours will be posted in the hospital.
Additional information for visitors
- Visitors must be 18 years old, and an exception will be made for parents of patients.
- A patient's health may require the clinical team to limit visitation on occasion. Please ask about any visitation limitations when you arrive on the unit.
- Visitors of patients in isolation may have additional visitation restrictions in place. Visitors of patients in isolation must follow appropriate precautions, including wearing any necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Visitors showing signs or symptoms of infection or illness should not visit. Symptoms of illness could include cough, fever, runny nose, rash, vomiting, diarrhea, or sore throat.
- Certain areas of the hospital, including but not limited to the NICU, PICU, ER, Labor and Delivery, and surgery may have additional guidelines for visitors.
- Visitors may be asked to leave if they are disruptive or otherwise unable to comply with hospital policies or visitation expectations.
- To reduce the risk of latex allergies, visitors are asked not to bring latex balloons as gifts.
