St. Vincent Anderson Regional

The Women’s Center at St. Vincent Anderson Regional was designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR) (2013). The ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound, including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.

St. Vincent Carmel

St. Vincent Carmel was recognized as an Emergency Center of Excellence (2012). Eligibility for the Emergency Center of Excellence is based on the results of more than 100 key performance indicators linked to seven Pillars of Excellence (Safety, Satisfaction, Space, Staff, Support, Systems and Solvency).

St. Vincent Fishers

St. Vincent Fishers is the first and only hospital in Indiana to pursue LEED-for-Healthcare designation from the US Green Building Council. A LEED-certified healthcare facility means that the hospital followed rigorous guidelines in constructing and maintaining the building with regards to energy and acoustic control, as well as materials selected with fewer chemicals, giving everyone who visits the hospital greater respiratory health.

St. Vincent Fishers Hospital was honored as a PRC National Excellence in Healthcare and received a 5-Star Award for Overall Quality of Care for Emergency Department Services (2012 – 2013) and Outpatient Services (2013). This means that the services scored at or above the 90th percentile in patient satisfaction from consumers who were surveyed by Professional Research Consultants to obtain confidential perceptions and opinions of these services. Outpatient services include: outpatient general medicine, outpatient imaging, outpatient obstetrics, outpatient rehabilitation, outpatient surgery and the sleep center.

Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center was recognized as one of six best hospitals in the United States for cardiology and recognized on the "World's Best Hospitals" list for 2020, 2021 and 2022. Our specialty hospital was one of five recognized in the United States and the only specialty hospital in Indiana.

Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center is proud to be recognized as one of the top fifty cardiovascular hospitals in the United States by IBM Watson (2022). This award recognized Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center for better clinical outcomes, lower costs and greater efficiency.

US News recognized Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center as one of the best specialty hospitals in 2019, of which only 12% of hospitals achieved nationally.

Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center has maintained a 5-star hospital ranking by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) since the inception of the star ranking program. . This achievement was awarded most recently in 2021.

Patient experience consistently ranks Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center 4 out of 5 stars, beating state and national averages in all questions except one. 86% of patients "would definitely recommend the hospital", beating the state (72%) and national average (71%).

Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center was a recipient of the computed tomography (CT) Quality Award in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Recipients of the CT Quality Award are determined based on metrics assessing the quality and adoption of a medical center's cardiovascular imaging program. Recipients of the award are included in the top 10% of global medical centers providing patients with a better pathway for identifying and understanding their heart health by utilizing coronary CTA.

St. Vincent is one of 100 Hospitals With Great Orthopedic and Women’s Health Programs (2014). - Hospitals on the list offer exceptional orthopedic departments that include physicians who provide outstanding patient care, advance cutting-edge orthopedic research, and treat professional athletes.

St. Vincent Indianapolis Hospital Selected as the Most Preferred by Consumers for 18 Consecutive Years (2014). - In the Midwest, only six hospitals have won this award for 18 years; and nationwide, only 37 hospitals of nearly 3,200 mentioned by name have won this award for all 18 years.
