Campus amenities at Ascension St. Vincent - Randolph
Ascension St. Vincent - Randolph in Winchester, Indiana, is a place of healing, made just for patients and families. To help make your hospital stay more comfortable for you and your family, we provide a range of amenities, including:
Chapel and spiritual care
The chapel is open 24/7. Families are welcome to use this room for prayer, meditation or quiet time. The chapel is also used for services and memorials. Ask your nurse to be connected with a chaplain.
It is common for patients to feel anxious, fearful, powerless, loss of control, and distant from their loved ones or their God. You may also experience spiritual distress in the midst of your illness. Talk to your care team about submitting a prayer request.

- Deaf and hearing-impaired patients
- Limited English proficiency
- Patients and visitors with physical needs
Notify our pre-registration or registration team before or upon your arrival. If you are an inpatient, please let your nurse know and these services will be available to you.
Health Access: connecting you to healthcare service
Health Access provides a comprehensive network of health, human and social services for improved access and removal of barriers to needed resources. The Health Access Department (formerly known as RUAH) is a community-based care coordination program sponsored by Ascension St. Vincent and inspired by the work of St. Vincent de Paul.
Health advocates can help you connect to care by finding a doctor, applying for health coverage programs, connecting to community resources and agencies, and prescription assistance programs. When you come into the hospital or doctor’s office for services, be sure to let your doctor and care team know you’re working with a health advocate. That way, we can better serve you by working together as a team to help you remove any barrier to you and your family’s health. A health advocate can help you:
Find a doctor Identify medications at free and reduced cost
- Apply for health coverage (Medicaid, Healthy Indiana Plan, Medicare, Hoosier Healthwise)
- Apply for public programs (Food Stamps, TANF, Social Security, WIC, Breast and Cervical Cancer Program)
- Connect to other community resources and agencies for assistance
