In Northwest Florida, Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola  Emergency Department delivers 24/7 emergency care for serious and life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Board-certified emergency care doctors and care teams at Ascension are trained in advanced life-saving services. From the moment you walk through the door, we deliver compassionate care to help you and your loved ones through an emergency.

Located in the main campus of Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola, the Emergency Department is open and available 24-hours, 7 days-a-week. It is accessible at the Emergency Department entrance on the Ninth Avenue side of the campus. 

In addition to the main Emergency Department, Ascension Sacred Heart also offers a Pediatric Emergency Department located in the Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart. The Pediatric Emergency Department is staffed by specialists in pediatric emergency care. It is the region's only Pediatric Trauma Center.

And as the region’s only nationally certified comprehensive stroke center, we are Northwest Florida’s leaders in stroke treatment, brain and spine care.

The Emergency Department at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is the only comprehensive Trauma Center serving the Northwest Florida region that is staffed and equipped to handle life-threatening injuries in adults and children.
