Chemo Education
Are you starting Chemotherapy? We would like to schedule you for a one-time Chemotherapy Orientation Class for newly-diagnosed patients and their caregivers. This class lasts typically last about two hours with educational handouts. The purpose of this presentation is to help you be informed and feel confident in the days ahead. There is no charge to attend, and the classes are taught in a 3rd Floor Conference Room by an experienced professional from our care team.
We offer this class twice a week:
Tuesdays at 2:00 PM or Thursdays at 10:00 AM

Nutrition Education
This basic nutrition education class taught by a registered dietitian will cover various nutrition topics relevant to all cancer patients while focusing on the importance of healthy eating during cancer treatment. This class rotates meeting times and will meet in a 3rd Floor Conference Room. Pre-registration is not required. See monthly calendar or call 850-416-6933 for details.
Managing Life with Cancer
This four-week program is designed to help patients and families learn how to emotionally, physically, and spiritually cope with cancer. Patients will be able to connect with other cancer patients while learning common emotions associated with a cancer diagnosis, healthy coping skills, safe exercises, and sources of personal hope and self-care. CLIMB (Children's Lives Include Moments of Bravery)
CLIMB is a unique, free program at the Sacred Heart Cancer Center, created to provide emotional support for children who have a parent with cancer. During the group meetings, conversation and art are used to help children identify and appropriately express complex feelings related to having a parent with cancer. The CLIMB program is offered twice a year and held on Tuesday nights for six consecutive weeks. Read more about the CLIMB Program here (keep link from existing published). Man2Man
This class is Facilitated by Ed Rigby. Prostate cancer education and support program. This program is held every 1st Saturday of the month at 9:30 am. It is located at Sacred Heart Cancer Center in one of our 3rd Floor Conference Rooms. If you would like more info please call. Call 850-438-7627. No registration required.
