We’re here for you every day. If you or a loved one is experiencing a cardiovascular emergency, our ER doctors and care teams work closely with the Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast heart and stroke care network, as well as specialists in pediatrics, pulmonology, neurosurgery, orthopedics and foot care, surgery, OB/GYN, urology, ear-nose-and-throat care, plastic surgeons, gastroenterology and digestive health, 

Together, our first responders, ER care team and our hospital’s medical-surgical intensive care teams provide advanced care. 

Our Emergency Department features centrally located stations for nurses and physicians designed so that all patient rooms are visible to staff at all times. The increased capacity will provide patients with shorter wait times in a state-of-the-art environment. All rooms feature state-of-the-art equipment, flat screen TV’s, and guest seating. 

Comprehensive diagnostic and imaging services are available 24-hours a day, including a 64-Slice CT scan, MRI services, lab work, x-rays, and much more. 

For critical trauma injuries, our ER care team performs initial treatments to stabilize the patient. Then, if needed, we work with ground and air ambulance teams to transport patients to a higher-level facility if needed.
