Speaker: Toni R. Tollerud PhD. LCPC, NCC, NCSC, ACS

Description

The supervisor/supervisee relationship is a critical variable in the overall success of supervision. The responsibility for the quality of this relationship is weighted toward the supervisor.  There are several factors that you will want to consider as you enter the role of supervisor.

This workshop examines the theory and strategies that focus on the supervisor/supervisee relationship.  It offers specific examples of ways to enhance the relationship and presents issues representing good boundaries in supervision.  Specific attention will be given to how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted supervision and the barriers sometimes created by telehealth and technology.
