STV BHM Bariatric Surgery Nutrition And Fitness Class-5/7/24

This class is only for pre operative bariatric surgery patients who have had an initial consultation with a surgeon and require completion of nutrition and fitness education prior to approval for a surgical procedure.

The pre-operative nutrition and fitness class is a requirement for any patient scheduled to undergo bariatric surgery at St. Vincent's Birmingham. This class will provide education on both general nutrition and nutritional considerations after bariatric surgery to include pre and post surgery diet considerations and basic fitness education.

This class has a cost of $80.00 which must be paid via the portal at the time of registration for your seat to be reserved. Please note that while this class is not covered by insurance, you can save your receipt and attempt to submit if you participate in an FSA program. 

If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site. By registering for this class, you hereby express written agreement to this policy. 

Please note that, per hospital policy, late entry into class is not allowed. If you arrive greater than 10 minutes late for class you will not be able to enter and will be asked to reschedule as to not provide distraction to other patients and instructors.
