Guests visit Ascension Wisconsin sites of care for many reasons: to visit a family member or friend, to welcome a newborn addition to the family, to accompany a loved one to an appointment, and more.
At Ascension Wisconsin sites of care, we want to make sure visitors know where our buildings are, how to contact patients and other common concerns.
Visiting hours and guidelines
Daily: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
To ensure the comfort of all hospital patients and visitors, please:
- Avoid visitation if you are experiencing symptoms during self health screenings at our entrances
- Keep visits short and quiet
- Don’t sit on the bed or use the lavatory in the hospital room
- If you have children under the age of 10, check in with a nurse
Nursing care teams and leadership may customize a patient's visiting hours based on their individual needs. Special restrictions may apply to the mental health unit, birth center, intensive care and isolation rooms.
Parking
- Visitor parking is available around the hospital perimeter.
- Visitors are asked to use the Main Entrance off of Oakwood Road. There is a covered drop-off point at this entrance.
Meditation room
The meditation room provides family members a private place to relax, rest or meditate. Check with the medical or surgical nurse for location and availability.
Restrooms
Public restrooms are located near the front lobby entrance.
Smoking
Ascension NE Wisconsin - Mercy Campus is a smoke-free campus.
Cell phones
Cell phones are allowed inside the hospital. There are charging stations available in various locations.
Ascension Mercy Gift Shop
The Ascension Mercy Gift Shop has a variety of gift items for all occasions, including:
- Baptism gowns/suits
- Clothing and jewelry
- Fresh flowers
- Gifts for babies and children
- Handbags and totes
- Home décor
- Lawn ornaments

Caring and friendly volunteers operate the Ascension Mercy Gift Shop. You can reach the shop by calling 920-223-GIFT (4438).
Monday and Tuesday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
Wednesday-Friday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Gift certificates
The Gift Shop sells gift certificates in any amount, if you’d rather let someone pick out their own perfect gift. We provide free gift wrapping and delivery within the hospital.
Proceeds
The Gift Shop is a major fundraiser of the Mercy Hospital Volunteer (MHV) Organization. Proceeds from the Gift Shop fund various Ascension Mercy and community health programs.
