As a volunteer, you will meet new friends, develop new skills and rejuvenate your spirit by contributing your talent and skills to help others.
Ascension St. John Providence offers various volunteer opportunities at the hospital sites and through many of its affiliate organizations. Assisting staff, patients, their families and visitors, is the primary purpose and goal of our volunteer program. Responsibilities and duties may vary depending on the program you select and types of services you wish to provide. The time you spend in volunteer activities can vary widely from a few hours a week to several hours a day. As a volunteer, you will be able to schedule times at your convenience that will fit into your lifestyle. You can volunteer at a location close to you.
What kinds of opportunities are available?
We need volunteers in numerous areas. Each facility has its own specific needs. Our goal is to find that perfect fit – matching the volunteer’s interest and time availability to a need of ours. All volunteers attend an orientation to help them understand their responsibilities and answer any questions they may have.
