Visitor Information

Ascension welcomes family and friends of our patients. We’ve provided the information below to help make your visit convenient and comfortable.

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on general nursing floors.  After 9 p.m., all visitors must enter through the outpatient services registration area, located in the Emergency Center, and get a visitor identification tag.

Critical Care allows visiting anytime other than 5 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. daily.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who do visitors contact if they have special needs and concerns?
Have the hospital operator page the Administrative Director. The Administrative Director coordinates patient care activities throughout the day.

Can visitors bring their own coffee maker or slow cookers to use while they are here?
Safety and fire regulations prohibit the hospital from allowing personal electronic equipment, such as coffee makers and crock pots.

Amenities

Gift Shop

The Victoria Guild Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m. It has fresh flowers, silk floral arrangements, snacks, beverages and small gifts, such as greeting cards, jewelry and figurines. For more information, call 646-8280.

Cafeteria

The cafeteria is located on the ground floor, or basement, at the east end of the north wing of the hospital.

Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10 a.m.
Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dinner is served from 5 to 7 p.m.
A soup/salad/deli bar is available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Internet Access/Wifi

St. Vincent Anderson provides free wireless Internet service for patients and guests with laptop computers, tablets or other devices with a wireless network interface card.

The hospital has a desktop computer in each of the patient floor lounges for patients and their guests to use. The computers are programmed to make it easy for individuals to check e-mails and to access health information while away from home.

Communication Service

The hospital provides language access services, including interpreter services, at no cost to our patients/clients.
