Ascension Borgess-Pipp Hospital volunteers donate their time and energy in an effort to make a patient's stay as comfortable as possible. Our volunteers perform duties that lighten the load of our staff, services for patient comfort. Thank you for your interest in volunteering. There isn’t a gift more generous, more compassionate or more appreciated than giving your time.


Volunteer requirements

With their contagious smiles, comforting presence and huge hearts – our volunteers make  Ascension Borgess-Pipp Hospital feel like home. Due to the nature of our work there are a number of requirements that all Ascension volunteers must meet. To volunteer at Ascension Borgess Hospital you must be 18 years or older, and commit to volunteer for at least 6 months. First you will need to complete a volunteer application along with a TB test. Next you will participate in a orientation and training session. Uniforms are required any time you are volunteering. These requirements ensure that volunteers are well-prepared and dedicated to supporting the mission of Ascension Borgess-Pipp Hospital. Please review the "Immunization" requirements and "General" requirements for the location you are applying for, before submitting your application.
